REVIEW: Basic Training for Adobe CS4 Production Premium

Class on Demand's Basic Training for Adobe CS4 Production Premium offers a good overview of the fundamentals of the software suite. There is no great detail, but a a solid understanding of the various modules in the suite. Plus the tutorial allows you to follow along in an interactive style so you can compare results.

Tim Kolb, the instructor is extremely articulate and uses a variety of different terminology so either print or video designers can understand him easily.

It would be great if the tutorial was available as a pod-cast or download from the Class on Demand website.

It is a shame that you cannot scale the tutorial to fit your screen - it's a one-size fits all player.

Also, it would be nice if you could use the normal hot keys (fast forward, pause, rewind) to navigate your way through the tutorial -- you have to click on the icons on the GUI.

So, if you are looking for a good overview of the CS4 package, it's well worth the price at $99.95. And, far better than trying to self-teach or follow a book.
